Using an electric pressure cooker, I think Ive captured that same distinctive flavor in less than two hours. Yes, that roast may end up taking an hour and a half, but it's time you're away from the kitchen, doing other stuff. One of my all-time favorite German dishes is sauerbraten, but I dont love that it normally takes five to 10 days to make. One of the great advantages of using a Pressure Cooker is that many recipes are just "set it and forget it" type recipes.
